Ingredients
1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
½ cup granulated sugar
¾ cup unsalted butter, softened
¼ teaspoon salt
1 cup packed light brown sugar
½ cup unsalted butter
¼ cup heavy cream
1 tablespoon corn syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 ½ cups chopped pecans, toasted
1 cup white chocolate chips
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper.
2. Combine butter, sugar, flour, and salt to form crust. Press into pan and bake 15–18 minutes.
3. Make caramel with butter, brown sugar, cream, corn syrup, and vanilla; stir until thickened.
4. Fold in toasted pecans, spread over crust, bake again for 10–12 minutes.
5. Melt white chocolate with oil, drizzle over cooled bars, chill, and slice.
Notes
Toast your pecans before adding them for extra depth of flavor.
Chill bars completely before cutting for clean slices.
Add a sprinkle of flaky sea salt on top for balance.
