Description

A simple and comforting vanilla oat tray bake where rolled oats soften into a tender vanilla batter. Easy to slice, filling, and perfect for snacks or breakfast.


Ingredients

2 large eggs

¾ cup granulated sugar

1 cup milk

⅓ cup vegetable oil

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup rolled oats

1½ cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

Pinch of salt


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking tray.

2. Whisk eggs and sugar until pale.

3. Add milk, oil, and vanilla and mix well.

4. Stir in rolled oats and let rest for 5 minutes.

5. Add flour, baking powder, and salt.

6. Mix gently until just combined.

7. Pour batter into tray and smooth the top.

8. Bake for 30–35 minutes until set.

9. Cool before slicing.

Notes

Let the oats rest to soften properly.

Do not overbake to keep the tray bake tender.

Cool completely for neat slices.
