Description
Rich tahini date cake naturally sweetened and incredibly moist with caramel-like flavor.
Ingredients
1 cup dates
3/4 cup milk
1/2 cup tahini
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/4 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
Pinch salt
Instructions
1. Soak dates in hot milk until soft.
2. Blend until smooth.
3. Add tahini, eggs, and vanilla.
4. Mix dry ingredients separately.
5. Combine wet and dry mixtures.
6. Pour into pan.
7. Bake at 180°C for 35–45 minutes.
8. Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
Use soft dates.
Blend thoroughly.
Do not overbake.
Let rest before slicing for better flavor.
