Description
Sugar-free millionaire shortbread bars with a buttery almond flour base, silky caramel layer, and rich chocolate topping.
Ingredients
Shortbread Base:
1 1/2 cups almond flour
1/4 cup powdered monk fruit sweetener
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Caramel Layer:
1/2 cup allulose
1/4 cup heavy cream
3 tbsp unsalted butter
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
Chocolate Topping:
3/4 cup sugar-free dark chocolate chips
1 tbsp coconut oil or butter
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8×8 pan.
2. Mix shortbread ingredients and press into pan.
3. Bake 12–15 minutes and cool completely.
4. Cook caramel ingredients until thickened.
5. Pour caramel over shortbread and chill.
6. Melt chocolate with coconut oil and spread on top.
7. Chill until fully set before slicing.
Notes
Allulose is required for smooth caramel.
Chill between layers for best results.
Store bars refrigerated.
