Description
This soft cornstarch bread made in a frying pan is golden on the outside and fluffy inside. A quick and easy no-oven bread recipe perfect for any time of day.
Ingredients
1 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup milk
1 tablespoon butter or oil
Instructions
1. Mix cornstarch, flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
2. Add milk and butter, mix into soft dough.
3. Divide and shape into flat rounds.
4. Cook in pan over medium-low heat 4–5 minutes per side.
5. Serve warm.
Notes
Cook on low heat for even cooking.
Do not make too thick.
Best served warm.
