Description

Homemade Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs with creamy peanut butter filling and smooth chocolate coating.


Ingredients

Scale

1/2 cup unsalted butter softened

1 cup creamy peanut butter

2 3/4 cups confectioners sugar

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips

2 tablespoons coconut oil or vegetable shortening


Instructions

1. Mix butter peanut butter and vanilla until smooth

2. Add powdered sugar gradually until thick dough forms

3. Shape mixture into egg shapes and place on parchment lined tray

4. Chill for 30 minutes

5. Melt chocolate chips and coconut oil together

6. Dip peanut butter eggs into chocolate and place back on tray

7. Allow chocolate to set before serving

Notes

Chill eggs before dipping to keep shape

Use high quality chocolate for best flavor
