Moist, nutty Pecan Streusel Banana Bread with a buttery crumble topping that stays soft for days — the perfect breakfast or dessert loaf!
Ingredients
3 ripe bananas
½ cup melted butter
¾ cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1½ cups flour
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ tsp cinnamon
¾ cup chopped pecans
(For Streusel) ¼ cup brown sugar, ¼ cup flour, 2 tbsp cold butter, ¼ cup pecans
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease loaf pan.
2. Mash bananas.
3. Whisk in butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla.
4. Combine dry ingredients and stir into wet mixture.
5. Fold in pecans and pour into pan.
6. Mix streusel topping and sprinkle on top.
7. Bake 55–65 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
8. Cool before slicing.
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for the best flavor.
Store in airtight container for 3 days or freeze up to 3 months.
