Description
This No-Bake Condensed Milk Slice with Biscuit Base is creamy, sweet, and incredibly easy to make with a buttery biscuit crust and silky condensed milk filling. A perfect make-ahead dessert for parties, holidays, or whenever you need a simple no-bake treat.
Ingredients
For the Biscuit Base:
2 cups (200 g) crushed digestive biscuits
1/2 cup (113 g) unsalted butter, melted
2 tablespoons (25 g) brown sugar
For the Filling:
1 can (14 oz / 397 g) sweetened condensed milk
8 ounces (226 g) cream cheese, softened
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
Optional Toppings:
Chocolate shavings
Fresh berries
Toasted coconut
Caramel drizzle
Instructions
1. Line an 8×8-inch (20 cm) square pan with parchment paper.
2. In a bowl, combine the crushed digestive biscuits, melted butter, and brown sugar until evenly moistened.
3. Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
4. In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth.
5. Add the sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, and lemon juice and beat until creamy and fully combined.
6. Spread the filling evenly over the chilled biscuit base.
7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight, until firmly set.
8. Top with chocolate shavings, berries, coconut, or caramel if desired.
9. Lift from the pan, slice into squares, and serve chilled.
Notes
For the best texture, refrigerate overnight before slicing.
Use full-fat cream cheese for a richer and creamier filling.
Warm a sharp knife under hot water and wipe dry between cuts for neat slices.
Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
