Description

This No-Bake Biscuit Cake is rich, creamy, chocolatey, and incredibly easy to make. Layers of chocolate biscuits, fluffy cream filling, and silky chocolate ganache come together in a stunning dessert that requires no oven at all.

Ingredients

Scale

For the Biscuit Layers:

400 g chocolate tea biscuits or chocolate digestive biscuits

2 cups cold milk for dipping

For the Cream Filling:

8 oz (225 g) cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 cups heavy whipping cream

For the Chocolate Ganache:

1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips

3/4 cup heavy cream

Optional Toppings:

Crushed chocolate biscuits

Chocolate curls

Mini chocolate chips

Cocoa powder dusting

Instructions

1. In a large bowl beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.

2. In a separate bowl whip heavy cream until stiff peaks form.

3. Fold whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until fully combined.

4. Heat 3/4 cup heavy cream until hot but not boiling. Pour over chocolate chips and let sit for 2 minutes. Stir until smooth to make the ganache.

5. Quickly dip chocolate biscuits into cold milk and arrange a layer in the bottom of an 8×8-inch baking dish.

6. Spread a layer of cream filling over the biscuits.

7. Repeat layers of dipped biscuits and cream filling until all ingredients are used, finishing with a biscuit layer.

8. Pour chocolate ganache evenly over the top and smooth with a spatula.

9. Sprinkle with crushed biscuits, chocolate curls, or mini chocolate chips if desired.

10. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

11. Slice into squares and serve chilled.

Notes

Do not soak the biscuits; a quick dip is enough.

For the best texture, chill overnight before serving.

Use full-fat cream cheese for a richer filling.

Warm the knife before slicing for cleaner cuts.

Store refrigerated for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
