Description
Soft, fluffy high-protein cinnamon rolls made with cottage cheese and Greek yogurt—about 8 grams of protein per roll.
Ingredients
2½ cups all-purpose flour
2¼ tsp instant yeast
¼ cup granulated sugar
½ tsp salt
½ cup Greek yogurt
½ cup cottage cheese, blended
1 large egg
¼ cup warm milk
2 tbsp melted butter
â…“ cup brown sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon
2 tbsp softened butter
4 oz cream cheese
¼ cup Greek yogurt
2 tbsp powdered sugar
½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Mix dry ingredients.
2. Add yogurt, cottage cheese, egg, milk, and butter to form dough.
3. Knead and let rise 1 hour.
4. Roll dough and spread filling.
5. Slice into rolls and let rise 30 minutes.
6. Bake at 350°F for 22–25 minutes.
7. Mix glaze and drizzle over warm rolls.
Notes
Blend cottage cheese smooth.
Do not overbake.
Store chilled for best texture.
