Description

Healthy Apple Crisp made with warm cinnamon apples and a gluten-free oat crumble topping.


Ingredients

5–6 medium apples, sliced

2 tablespoons maple syrup

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 cup rolled oats

1/2 cup almond flour

2 tablespoons maple syrup

2 tablespoons melted coconut oil


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease baking dish.

2. Toss apples with maple syrup, cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon juice, and vanilla.

3. Spread apples into baking dish.

4. Mix oats, almond flour, nuts, salt, coconut oil, and maple syrup.

5. Sprinkle topping over apples.

6. Bake 35–40 minutes until golden and bubbly.

7. Cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Use firm apples for best texture.

Let crisp rest to thicken juices.

Store leftovers refrigerated.
