Ingredients
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 cup granulated sugar
½ cup brown sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 cup milk
½ cup vegetable oil
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
1 cup Nutella (slightly chilled)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners
2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
3. In another bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract until smooth
4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently fold until just combined (do not overmix)
5. Fold in chocolate chips if using
6. Fill each muffin liner halfway with batter
7. Add a spoonful of chilled Nutella in the center of each muffin
8. Cover with more batter until each cup is about ¾ full
9. Bake for 18–22 minutes until the tops are golden and set
10. Let cool for 5–10 minutes before serving for the perfect gooey center

Chill Nutella before using to make stuffing easier
Do not overmix the batter to keep muffins light and fluffy
Use an ice cream scoop for evenly sized muffins
