Description
Ultra-fudgy Chocolate Brownie Bars swirled with sweetened condensed milk for a rich, gooey, bakery-style dessert with a crackly top and molten center.
Ingredients
1 cup (226 g) unsalted butter, melted
1½ cups (300 g) granulated sugar
½ cup (100 g) brown sugar
3 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
½ cup (50 g) unsweetened cocoa powder
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup (300 g) sweetened condensed milk
1 cup (175 g) semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
3. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.
4. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, and salt, then fold gently until just combined.
5. Spread half of the brownie batter into the prepared pan.
6. Drizzle sweetened condensed milk evenly over the batter layer.
7. Top with remaining brownie batter and gently spread it out.
8. Sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the top.
9. Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until the edges are set but the center is slightly soft.
10. Allow to cool completely at room temperature, then chill for cleaner slices.
11. Cut into squares and serve.
Notes
Do not overbake — the center should stay slightly soft for a fudgy texture.
Chilling the brownies helps them slice cleanly and intensifies the chocolate flavor.
Serve slightly warm for a gooey, molten effect.
Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days or freeze for up to 2 months.
