Description
These fudgy chocolate brownie cookies have shiny crackled tops and soft, gooey centers. Rich, chocolatey, and ready in under 30 minutes.
Ingredients
2/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
2. Melt chocolate chips and butter together until smooth
3. Whisk sugars, egg, and vanilla into melted chocolate
4. In a separate bowl mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt
5. Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients
6. Scoop dough onto baking sheet
7. Bake 9–11 minutes until crackly and set
8. Cool on pan before serving
Notes
Do not overbake for best fudgy texture
Let cookies cool to fully set centers
Add flaky sea salt for extra flavor
