Description
Moist and rich flourless chocolate bean cake made with black beans for a healthy, high-protein dessert.
Ingredients
1 can black beans
3 eggs
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup oil
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking powder
Pinch salt
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 180°C and prepare pan.
2. Blend beans until smooth.
3. Add eggs, oil, and vanilla and blend.
4. Add cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
5. Blend until smooth.
6. Fold in chocolate chips.
7. Pour into pan and bake 30–35 minutes.
8. Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
Blend beans very smooth.
Rinse beans well.
Do not overbake.
Cool before slicing.
