Description

These Fig & Nut Pressed Bars are a naturally sweet, no-bake snack made with dried figs, almonds, walnuts, sesame seeds, honey, and fresh orange zest. Chewy, wholesome, and perfect for healthy snacking.


Ingredients

Scale

260 g dried figs, stems removed

120 g raw almonds, roughly chopped

80 g walnuts, roughly chopped

18 g toasted sesame seeds

55 g honey

2 g orange zest, finely grated

1.5 g fine sea salt


Instructions

1. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper.

2. Pulse dried figs in a food processor until a sticky paste forms.

3. Add almonds, walnuts, and sesame seeds and pulse to combine.

4. Gently warm honey until loosened.

5. Add honey, orange zest, and salt to the mixture.

6. Pulse until mixture holds together when pressed.

7. Press firmly into prepared pan.

8. Refrigerate 1–2 hours until firm.

9. Slice into bars and serve.

Notes

Use soft figs for best binding.

Press mixture firmly for clean slices.

Store chilled for best texture.

Can be rolled into energy balls instead of bars.
