Description
This easy fruit bread recipe is soft, lightly sweet, and filled with dried fruits and warm cinnamon. A simple, comforting quick bread perfect for breakfast, tea time, or gifting.
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
½ tsp cinnamon
½ cup sugar
¼ cup milk
¼ cup vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup mixed dried fruits
½ cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare loaf pan.
2. Whisk dry ingredients together.
3. Mix wet ingredients until smooth.
4. Combine wet and dry gently.
5. Fold in dried fruits and nuts.
6. Bake 45–50 minutes until set.
7. Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
Do not overmix batter.
Dried fruits can be customized.
