Description
These Cottage Cheese Chips are crunchy, high-protein, gluten-free, and surprisingly addictive. Made with just one base ingredient and baked until golden, they’re the perfect low-calorie snack or dipper.
Ingredients
1 cup full-fat cottage cheese (4% recommended)
¼ teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
¼ teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
¼ teaspoon smoked paprika or black pepper (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. For smoother chips, blend cottage cheese until smooth (optional).
3. Spoon small mounds (about 1 tablespoon) of cottage cheese onto the baking sheet, spacing well apart.
4. Flatten slightly with the back of a spoon.
5. Sprinkle lightly with salt and any optional seasonings.
6. Bake for 35–45 minutes, until deeply golden and crisp.
7. Allow chips to cool completely on the baking sheet before removing — they crisp up as they cool.
Notes
Smaller portions make crispier chips.
Do not skip parchment paper — chips will stick.
Let chips cool fully before judging crunch.
If chips soften, re-crisp in the oven for a few minutes.
