Description
A soft vanilla breakfast cake with warm cinnamon swirls throughout.
Ingredients
2 large eggs
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
3/4 cup milk
1 tbsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp ground cinnamon
2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 175°C
2. Prepare cinnamon swirl mixture
3. Mix wet ingredients
4. Add dry ingredients
5. Layer batter and cinnamon swirl in pan
6. Swirl gently with knife
7. Bake 32-38 minutes
8. Cool slightly before glazing and serving
Notes
Do not overmix batter
Best served warm
