Description

These Cottage Cheese Snickers Squares are a high-protein no-bake dessert that tastes like a candy bar while delivering a creamy, indulgent texture and balanced sweetness. A healthier take on a classic candy bar flavor.

Ingredients

Scale

2 cups (450 g) cottage cheese

1 scoop (30 g) vanilla protein powder

1/2 cup (130 g) natural peanut butter

1/4 cup (80 g) maple syrup

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Pinch of salt

For the topping:

1/2 cup (90 g) dark chocolate chips

1 teaspoon coconut oil

2 tablespoons crushed peanuts (optional)

Instructions

1. Line an 8×8-inch square pan with parchment paper.

2. Blend cottage cheese, protein powder, vanilla extract, and half the maple syrup until completely smooth.

3. In a small bowl, mix peanut butter with remaining maple syrup and a pinch of salt.

4. Spread half of the cottage cheese mixture into the prepared pan.

5. Add dollops of the peanut butter mixture and gently swirl.

6. Top with remaining cottage cheese mixture and smooth the surface.

7. Melt chocolate chips with coconut oil until smooth.

8. Pour melted chocolate over the top layer and spread evenly.

9. Sprinkle crushed peanuts on top if using.

10. Refrigerate for 3–4 hours or until fully set.

11. Slice into squares and serve chilled.

Notes

Blend the cottage cheese very well for a smooth, candy-bar-like texture.

Use full-fat cottage cheese for the creamiest result.

Keep refrigerated until serving, as these squares soften quickly at room temperature.

Can be frozen for up to 2 months and thawed in the fridge.
