Description

These Condensed Milk Bread Rolls are soft, fluffy, and lightly sweet—perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale

4 cups (500g) all-purpose flour

½ cup (120ml) condensed milk

2 ½ tsp (8g) instant yeast

1 cup (240ml) warm milk

1 large egg

¼ cup (60g) unsalted butter, softened

1 tsp salt

For brushing: melted butter or egg wash

Instructions

1. Activate yeast with warm milk and a little sugar.

2. Mix in flour, condensed milk, egg, butter, and salt. Knead until smooth.

3. Let dough rise until doubled, 1–1.5 hours.

4. Punch down, shape into 12–15 rolls.

5. Let rise again 30–40 minutes.

6. Brush with egg wash or butter, bake at 350°F for 20–25 minutes.

7. Brush warm rolls with butter for extra shine.

Notes

Dough will be slightly sticky—don’t over-flour.

Make ahead: refrigerate after first rise and bake next day.

Great for both sweet and savory pairings.
