Moist Cinnamon Sweet Alabama Pecan Bread loaded with toasted pecans and warm cinnamon spice.
Ingredients
2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup buttermilk
1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
2. Mix dry ingredients.
3. Cream butter and sugars.
4. Add eggs and vanilla.
5. Alternate dry ingredients and buttermilk.
6. Fold in pecans.
7. Bake 50-60 minutes.
8. Cool before slicing.
Notes
Toast pecans for best flavor.
Do not overmix.
Store tightly wrapped.
