Description
Cinnamon roll French toast made with fluffy cinnamon rolls soaked in vanilla custard and cooked until golden.
Ingredients
6 cinnamon rolls, homemade or store-bought
3 large eggs
¾ cup milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
½ tsp ground cinnamon
Pinch of salt
1 tbsp butter or oil for cooking
Instructions
1. Slice cinnamon rolls into halves or thick rounds.
2. Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
3. Dip rolls into custard briefly.
4. Cook in buttered skillet 2–3 minutes per side.
5. Serve warm with icing or syrup.
Notes
Use slightly stale cinnamon rolls.
Do not oversoak.
Keep warm in oven if cooking in batches.
