Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons milk
Chocolate filling:
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1–2 tablespoons milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
3. In a bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt
4. In another bowl, cream butter, brown sugar, and white sugar until fluffy
5. Add egg and vanilla extract and mix well
6. Gradually add dry ingredients and mix until dough forms
7. Add milk if needed to soften dough
8. Scoop and shape into small cookie rounds
9. Bake for 10–12 minutes and let cool completely
10. For filling, beat butter until creamy
11. Add powdered sugar, cocoa powder, vanilla, and milk and mix until smooth

Do not overbake for soft chewy texture
Chill dough if too sticky
