Ingredients

1 cup unsalted butter 8 oz dark chocolate 1½ cups granulated sugar ½ cup brown sugar 3 eggs 2 tsp vanilla extract ¾ cup all-purpose flour ½ cup cocoa powder ½ tsp salt 1½ cups chopped toasted pecans ½ cup chocolate chips (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare the baking pan. Melt butter and dark chocolate together. Whisk in sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Fold in flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Stir in toasted pecans and chocolate chips. Spread into the pan and bake for 30–35 minutes. Cool completely before slicing and serving.

Notes

Toast the pecans before adding them. Do not overbake for the fudgiest brownies. Store in an airtight container for up to one week.
