Ingredients
10 ounces maraschino cherries
2¼ cups powdered sugar
4 tablespoons salted butter
1 tablespoon corn syrup
½ teaspoon almond extract
10 ounces chocolate
1 tablespoon shortening
Instructions
1. Drain cherries and pat dry.
2. Mix butter, corn syrup, and sugar to form fondant.
3. Wrap cherries and chill.
4. Melt chocolate.
5. Dip cherries.
6. Let set and store.
