Description
Ultra fudgy chocolate covered banana brownies with rich cocoa flavor and a smooth chocolate topping.
Ingredients
Brownie Batter:
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
1½ cups granulated sugar
3 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup mashed ripe bananas
¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon salt
Chocolate Topping:
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 tablespoons heavy cream or milk
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking pan.
2. Whisk melted butter and sugar until smooth.
3. Add eggs, vanilla, and mashed bananas.
4. Fold in cocoa powder, flour, and salt.
5. Pour batter into pan and bake 25–30 minutes.
6. Melt chocolate chips with cream until smooth.
7. Spread topping over warm brownies.
8. Cool completely before slicing.
Notes
Use ripe bananas for best flavor.
Do not overbake.
