Description
Soft and creamy chocolate chip cookies made with cream cheese for a cheesecake-inspired texture.
Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
4 oz cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Cream butter and cream cheese until smooth.
2. Beat in sugars until fluffy.
3. Add egg and vanilla.
4. Whisk dry ingredients separately.
5. Mix dry into wet ingredients.
6. Fold in chocolate chips.
7. Chill dough 30 minutes if desired.
8. Bake at 350°F for 10–12 minutes.
9. Cool before serving.
Notes
– Full-fat cream cheese recommended.
– Chill dough for thicker cookies.
– Centers should look slightly underbaked.
