Ingredients
Muffins:
1¾ cups all-purpose flour
½ cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1½ teaspoons chai spice mix
¾ cup granulated sugar
½ cup brown sugar
2 large eggs
½ cup vegetable oil
¾ cup milk or brewed chai tea
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Chai Glaze:
1 cup powdered sugar
2–3 tablespoons milk or chai tea
½ teaspoon chai spice
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line muffin tin.
2. Whisk dry ingredients together.
3. Mix wet ingredients in a separate bowl.
4. Combine wet and dry ingredients gently.
5. Divide batter evenly into muffin cups.
6. Bake 18–22 minutes until set.
7. Cool muffins.
8. Whisk glaze ingredients and drizzle over muffins.
Notes
Do not overmix batter.
Brewed chai adds deeper flavor.
Glaze muffins only after cooling.
