Description
A gooey caramel apple cinnamon roll cake filled with buttery cinnamon swirls and tender apples.
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
pinch salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup melted butter
3/4 cup milk
1 tsp vanilla
2 apples, diced
For cinnamon swirl:
1/3 cup melted butter
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon
For topping:
1/2 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
1. Preheat oven and prepare pan.
2. Mix cake batter.
3. Prepare cinnamon swirl mixture.
4. Layer batter and swirl filling.
5. Bake for 35โ40 minutes.
6. Drizzle caramel over warm cake.
7. Slice and serve.
Notes
Use tart apples for balance. Warm caramel before serving. Do not overmix batter.
