Description
Soft brown sugar cinnamon butter cookies with gooey caramel centers, crackled tops, and flaky sea salt.
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
12 soft caramel candies
Flaky sea salt
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheet
2. Cream butter and sugars until fluffy
3. Mix in egg and vanilla
4. Add flour, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt
5. Wrap dough around caramel candies
6. Bake 11–13 minutes until crackled
7. Sprinkle with flaky salt while warm
Notes
Use soft caramels for gooey centers
Do not overbake
Chill dough for thicker cookies
