Description

This Boston Chocolate Cream Pie Cheesecake is layered with chocolate cake, creamy vanilla cheesecake, and topped with glossy chocolate ganache and caramel drizzle.


Ingredients

1½ cups all-purpose flour

1½ teaspoons baking powder

¼ teaspoon salt

½ cup cocoa powder

½ cup granulated sugar

½ cup brown sugar

½ cup vegetable oil

2 large eggs

¾ cup milk

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

24 oz cream cheese, softened

¾ cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 cup heavy cream

1 tablespoon cornstarch

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 cup heavy cream (for ganache)

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 325°F and prepare a springform pan

2. Mix cake dry ingredients and wet ingredients until smooth

3. Bake cake layer for 15 minutes

4. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth

5. Add eggs, cream, cornstarch, and vanilla

6. Pour cheesecake over cake layer

7. Bake 55–65 minutes until center jiggles

8. Cool completely and chill

9. Prepare ganache and pour over cheesecake

10. Decorate before serving

Chill overnight for best texture
