Description
These Black Bean Brownies are fudgy, rich, and secretly healthy! Made with cocoa, maple syrup, and dark chocolate chips, they’re naturally gluten-free, protein-packed, and oh-so-delicious.
Ingredients
1 can (15 oz) black beans, drained and rinsed
2 eggs (or flax eggs for vegan)
⅓ cup cocoa powder
½ cup maple syrup or honey
¼ cup coconut oil or melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
½ cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 pan.
2. In a food processor, blend beans, eggs, cocoa powder, maple syrup, coconut oil, vanilla, baking powder, and salt until smooth.
3. Fold in half of the chocolate chips.
4. Pour batter into pan, sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top.
5. Bake for 25–30 minutes until set. Cool before slicing.
Notes
For vegan version, use flax eggs. Store leftovers in fridge for up to a week or freeze for longer.
