Description
A soft and fluffy vanilla cake made with simple pantry ingredients.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups cake flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
1/2 cup oil
1/2 cup milk
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease cake pan.
2. Mix flour, baking powder and salt.
3. Whisk eggs and sugar until creamy.
4. Add oil and vanilla and mix well.
5. Alternate adding flour mixture and milk.
6. Pour batter into cake pan.
7. Bake 30 to 35 minutes until toothpick comes out clean.
8. Cool completely before serving.
Notes
Use cake flour for best texture.
Do not overmix batter.
Cake can be used for cupcakes or layered cakes.
