Description
These banana bread protein cookies are soft, chewy, and taste just like banana bread—with 5g of protein each. Easy to make, naturally sweetened, and perfect for a healthy snack or anytime treat.
Ingredients
2 ripe bananas, mashed
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup vanilla protein powder
1/4 cup almond flour
2 tablespoons natural peanut butter or almond butter
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of sea salt
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Mash bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
3. Add oats, protein powder, almond flour, nut butter, maple syrup, vanilla, cinnamon, baking powder, and salt. Mix until combined.
4. Fold in dark chocolate chips.
5. Scoop dough onto baking sheet and gently flatten each cookie.
6. Bake for 12–15 minutes until set and lightly golden.
7. Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for best flavor.
Cookies will firm up as they cool.
Store chilled for longer freshness.
