Description
Soft bakery-style strawberry butter sandwich cookies filled with vanilla cream and jam.
Ingredients

1 cup butter
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter (filling)
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1–2 tbsp milk
Strawberry jam
Instructions
1. Cream butter and sugar.
2. Add vanilla.
3. Mix dry ingredients.
4. Shape cookies.
5. Bake 10–12 minutes.
6. Prepare filling.
7. Assemble cookies with cream and jam.
Notes
Do not overbake.
Use quality jam.
Chill dough if needed.
