Description
Soft, wholesome applesauce cookies made with just 4 ingredients: oats, applesauce, nut butter, and cinnamon. A quick, healthy treat perfect for snack or dessert.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups rolled oats
1 cup sweetened applesauce
1 cup peanut butter (or any nut or seed butter)
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet.
2. In a bowl, mix oats and cinnamon together.
3. Add nut butter and applesauce; stir to form dough.
4. Scoop and flatten cookies on baking sheet.
5. Bake for 12–15 minutes until edges are set.
6. Cool on sheet briefly, then transfer to wire rack.
Notes
Use certified gluten-free oats if needed.
If dough is too dry, add a spoonful of applesauce.
For extra texture, add chocolate chips or chopped nuts.
Flatten cookies slightly before baking for crisp edges.
Store in airtight container once fully cooled.
