Description

This Apple Yogurt Cake is irresistibly moist, fluffy, and full of comforting apple flavor. Made with yogurt for tenderness, it’s an easy homemade treat perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

2 eggs

100g sugar

80g melted butter

A pinch of salt

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

125g plain yogurt

180g all-purpose flour

12g baking powder

1 large apple, sliced


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8-inch cake pan.

2. Whisk eggs and sugar until fluffy.

3. Add melted butter, salt, vanilla, and yogurt; mix well.

4. Fold in flour and baking powder gently.

5. Add apple slices, pour into pan, and bake for 35–40 minutes.

6. Cool and dust with powdered sugar before serving.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for best texture. Store in fridge up to 5 days or freeze slices for 2 months.
