Description
A moist breakfast cake layered with cinnamon apples and topped with a sweet powdered sugar glaze.
Ingredients
1 box white cake mix
1 tsp cinnamon
1 cup sour cream
3 eggs
1/4 cup water
1 can apple pie filling
1 cup powdered sugar
1 1/2 tbsp milk
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease baking pan.
2. Mix cake mix, cinnamon, sour cream, eggs and water.
3. Spread half batter in pan.
4. Add apple pie filling.
5. Cover with remaining batter.
6. Bake 35 to 40 minutes.
7. Mix powdered sugar and milk.
8. Drizzle glaze over cooled cake.
Notes
Chop apple filling for easier slicing.
Add nuts if desired.
Best served slightly warm.
