Description
Buttery oatmeal crumble bars filled with homemade cinnamon apple filling.
Ingredients
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup rolled oats
3/4 cup brown sugar
12 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
2 tbsp butter
3–4 apples
1/3 cup brown sugar
3 tbsp water
1 tbsp cornstarch
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 175°C
2. Prepare crumble mixture
3. Press crust into pan
4. Cook apple filling
5. Layer filling over crust
6. Top with remaining crumble
7. Bake 35-40 minutes
8. Cool before slicing

Use firm apples
Cool fully before slicing
