Ingredients

1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs

3 cups old-fashioned oats
1 cup finely diced apple
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Instructions
1. Cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy.
2. Add eggs and vanilla extract, beating until combined.
3. Whisk together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt in a separate bowl, then mix into wet ingredients.
4. Fold in oats, apples, and optional nuts.
5. Drop dough onto baking sheets and bake at 350ยฐF for 10โ12 minutes.
Notes
