3 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp ground cloves
Extra granulated sugar for rolling
Instructions
1. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.
2. Add apple butter, eggs, and vanilla; mix well.
3. Whisk dry ingredients separately and combine with wet mixture.
4. Chill dough for 30 minutes.

Notes
Chilling the dough ensures thicker, softer cookies. For extra flavor, add a sprinkle of coarse sugar on top before baking.
