Description
Easy 3-Ingredient Shortbread Biscuits that are gluten-free, egg-free, and made without refined sugar.
Ingredients
1 1/2 cups almond flour
1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
1/4 cup melted coconut oil
1/2 cup dark chocolate optional
pinch sea salt optional
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
2. Mix almond flour maple syrup and melted coconut oil until a dough forms
3. Roll dough between parchment sheets to about 1/2 inch thickness
4. Cut into rectangles or desired shapes
5. Place on baking tray and poke small holes with a fork
6. Bake 12 to 15 minutes until lightly golden
7. Cool completely on rack
8. Dip in melted dark chocolate if desired and sprinkle sea salt
Notes
Use fine almond flour for best texture
Chill dough if too soft
