Soft and thick chocolate breakfast cake squares made with simple pantry ingredients and perfect for weekdays.
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup cocoa powder
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare an 8×8 pan.
2. Whisk dry ingredients.
3. Add eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla.
4. Mix until just combined.
5. Bake 30–35 minutes.
6. Cool completely and slice.
Notes
Not overly sweet — perfect for breakfast.
