Description

Ultra fudgy sea salt and walnut cottage cheese brownies with rich chocolate flavor and a protein boost.


Ingredients

Scale

Brownie Batter:

1 cup cottage cheese, blended smooth

½ cup almond flour

½ cup cocoa powder

½ cup maple syrup

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

½ teaspoon baking powder

¼ teaspoon salt

Topping:

¼ cup chopped walnuts

Flaky sea salt


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line pan.

2. Blend cottage cheese until smooth.

3. Mix cottage cheese, maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla.

4. Stir in dry ingredients until smooth.

5. Pour batter into pan.

6. Top with walnuts and sea salt.

7. Bake 22–26 minutes.

8. Cool completely before slicing.

Notes

Do not overbake.

Brownies firm as they cool.

Blend cottage cheese thoroughly.
