Soft, fluffy no-yeast bread made in just 20 minutes using simple pantry ingredients.
Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk
2 tablespoons melted butter
Optional: 1 egg for egg wash
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease loaf pan.
2. Whisk together dry ingredients.
3. Add milk and melted butter; stir gently.
4. Spread batter into pan and brush with egg wash if using.
5. Bake 18–20 minutes until golden.
6. Cool slightly, slice, and serve warm.
Notes
– Do not overmix batter.
– Best served warm.
– Can be frozen after cooling.
