Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs, room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
1/4 cup milk
1/2 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
1–2 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare a loaf pan with parchment paper
2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
3. Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy
4. Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla
5. Mix in mashed bananas, sour cream, and milk
6. Gently fold in dry ingredients until just combined
7. Bake for 50–60 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean
8. Cool completely before glazing
