Ingredients

2¼ cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

¼ tsp salt

½ cup unsalted butter, softened

¾ cup granulated sugar

1 large egg

1 tsp vanilla extract

½ cup whole-milk ricotta cheese

¾ cup Nutella

Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets.

2. Whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.

3. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy.

4. Beat in egg, vanilla, and ricotta.

5. Add dry ingredients and mix gently.

6. Roll dough into balls and make thumbprints.

7. Fill with Nutella.

8. Bake 12–14 minutes until set.

9. Cool and dust with powdered sugar.

Notes

Use whole-milk ricotta for best texture.

Do not overfill centers.
