Ingredients
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/3 cup cocoa powder
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and prepare an 8×8-inch pan.
2. Whisk butter, sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in cocoa, flour, salt, baking powder. Spread into pan, reserving 1/4 cup batter.
3. Beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth. Spread over brownie batter.
4. Dollop reserved brownie batter and swirl gently with a toothpick.
5. Bake 30–35 minutes until set. Cool before slicing.
