Description
Gooey brown butter chocolate chip cookies loaded with toffee bits, crisp edges, and soft centers.
Ingredients
1 cup unsalted butter
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp fine salt
1 cup chocolate chips
3/4 cup toffee bits
Instructions
1. Brown the butter and cool slightly.
2. Mix butter with sugars.
3. Add eggs and vanilla.
4. Stir in dry ingredients.
5. Fold in chocolate chips and toffee.
6. Chill dough 30 minutes.
7. Bake at 350°F for 10–12 minutes.
8. Cool slightly before serving.
Notes
Do not overbake.
Chill dough for thicker cookies.
Sprinkle flaky salt on top if desired.
